Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan (henceforth, ZUJ) was established in March, 1993. Instruction began on September 6, 1993, and since then ZUJ has witnessed considerable progress, at both the infrastructure and academic levels. It now includes seven faculties, encompassing 30 undergraduate and two graduates program. Academic & Administrative Staff: There are 322 faculty members of various ranks distributed among the seven faculties of the university, and 83 teaching and research assistants and lab technicians. In addition, there are 219 administrative employees and 272 workers. The Faculty of Engineering at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan is seeking to be a leading professional school in the region. The Faculty of Engineering offers educational programs of the highest standards, promotes research and creative scholarly activities of its faculty and students, and provides services to the community at large, while addressing the needs of Jordan and the region. The Faculty of Engineering undergoes continuous improvement to maintain a challenging and intellectually stimulating environment, and prepares its students to be life-long learners, innovators, and professionals capable of being leaders in their chosen careers, committed to personal integrity and civic responsibility. Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan recognized the need for engineering education in the field of hybrid engineering; consequently, two programs leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Engineering have been established, one of these programs was established in 2009 at the Department of Computer and Communication Engineering, the other program is offered by the department of Civil and Infrastructure Engineering. The faculty established another two programs in 2011: Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems Engineering at the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the other program is offered by the Department of Architectural Engineering.The faculty established two new programs in 2015: Alternative Energy Technology at the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the other program is offered by the Department of Power and Control Engineering.

Loai Dabbour
Ph.D. in Design Morphology and Urban Space Planning from University of Wales (United Kingdom) (2004). He is Vice Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, (Oct. 2013 – present), Chairman of Department of Architecture, Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, (Oct. 2011 – present) and Assistant professor in Department of Architecture (Oct. 2011 – present).his research interests are Sacred Art and Architecture, sacred geometry, Traditional Urban design and Space planning Patterns and traditional ecological spatial patterns and environmental sustainable and green building solutions.
Ahmad Al Aboushi
Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Institutul Politehnic GHEORGHE ASACHI (Iasi) (Romania) (1991). He is currently Assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, Amman- Jordan. He was Chairman Department of Mechanical Engineering, Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan (2012-2014). his research interest are Heating and air conditioning systems, Solar energy, and Green Building. He is involved in funded research projects related to solar energy.
Eman Abdelhafez
M.Sc. in Mechanical engineering from the University of Jordan (2009). Currently she was the Director of Quality assurance office at the engineering Faculty (April 2011- February 2015). Her research interest are microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), Microfluid, and energy. She has published fifteen articles most of them in the fields of energy and Artificial intelligence. Currently she is a member of a research team working of four funded projects in the areas of solar energy, hydrogen production and Hybrid Fuel-Cell/Battery system. She took Quality Management and Excellence Diploma/ Certified Quality Manager in 2013. She is Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) since 2014.
